Bruce M. Margulies
Bruce Margulies is originally from New York and moved to South Florida at a young age with his family. Inspired by his father, who practiced law in both New York and Florida, Bruce developed an early interest in the legal profession and pursued a career in law.
Bruce earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in 1980 and graduated from the University of Florida College of Law. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in November 1982. He began his legal career handling commercial litigation and general personal injury matters.
Bruce Margulies joined Rivkind Law in 2002 and has since worked as an attorney within the firm’s maritime practice. Since joining the firm, he has focused his practice on maritime personal injury matters, particularly crew member injury cases, working on matters assigned to him within the firm’s maritime practice. Through his work at Rivkind Law, he gained experience representing injured seafarers and maritime passengers.
Bruce is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and is an AV-rated attorney.
Outside of his legal practice, Bruce has long-standing interests in boating and scuba diving. He has been married to his wife, Lisa, for more than 34 years, and they have two children.
